Focused awareness. Compassionate presence. Balance and equanimity.
These are the tools of mindful law practice. Whether we are drafting documents, meeting with clients, or presenting a case in the courtroom, the practice of mindfulness meditation supports the practice of law. Mindfulness meditation is a simple, powerful way of training our attention that can calm and center the mind, increase focus and productivity, and improve communication and well-being. Every lawyer, in every type of practice environment, in every specialty, can benefit from mindfulness.
